Swansea also known as Abertawe in Welsh is one of the most beautiful waterfront cities on the south coast of Wales which overlooks Swansea Bay. In addition to the picturesque beauty, this city is known for its art, culture, music, sport, seafood, and of course its amazing student population.


Universities in Swansea

Swansea is home to two most popular universities, Swansea University and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. As per the 2023 rankings, Swansea University ranks 42nd out of all the UK universities and 27th for student satisfaction. The latter one was ranked 120th overall. Both two universities are quite popular and attract many students from across the world.


Living in Swansea

Both the universities in Swansea offer on-campus and off-campus accommodation. Things to do in Swansea

There is a wide range of things to do in Swansea. Here you can enjoy picturesque landscapes, enjoy fish and chips, and stroll around the museums. Swansea comes alive at night with a wide range of bars, pubs, and clubs to help you enjoy the nightlife. Many partygoers head to Wind Street for a wide range of venues. Some of the most popular options comprise Flickering Light, a 1950’s style speakeasy, No Sign Wine Bar which is one of the oldest bars in Swansea, and Americano Jazz Bar which sits on the waterfront and also hosts live music.
